About

Empathy.

This is what is missing in software development. What so many try to do is turn software development into a machine that they can then use to predict the future with. I hear it all the time:

“We want patterns.”

“You should be delivering more story points.”

“We have to have ALL the features in this next release.”

The simple truth is that software development should not be seen as a simple machine that can take in x inputs with y hours and give you z results. Proper software development focuses on delivering value to the end user!

Hi I am Jeremy Price.

Jeremy Price

I’m an envagelist for Extreme Programming and Lean Agile Practices. I created this blog to share experiences utilizing those practices, and how I enable others to deliver delightful software.

You may find some more technical posts as well as some posts focused more on philosophy around software development.

There is nothing more exciting than sharing what I love to do every day. I hope you find this blog enjoyable and informative.
